Ms. Laurencell is a graduate of SUNY New Paltz, where she majored in English Literature, and a cum laude graduate of New York Law School. She was admitted to the New York Bar in 2004 and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Bar in 2003.
Ms. Laurencell concentrates in representation of individuals, businesses and lending institutions in real estate finance transactions, including construction and mezzanine loans, IDA transactions and work-outs. She also has extensive experience in representing both landlords and tenants in commercial leasing transactions involving a variety of property types, condominium and cooperative offering plans, property acquisitions and dispositions and development projects, including affordable and low-income housing.
Ms. Laurencell has represented clients in Internal Revenue Code Section 1031 “like-kind” exchanges, business formations, acquisitions and sales, including stock and asset transactions. She also has experience in the representation of religious organizations.
